A part of our Backyard Theatre Festival, This unique food tour/performance is a creation presented by the P.A.I.N collective and led by Anne-Marie St-Louis.

Started in 2023 and accompanied by Teesri Duniya Theatre, this multidisciplinary play is rooted in the political and personal dimensions of food, in particular bread. With a combination of choral moments, storytelling, dance, photography, performance, theatre and music, the play will happen over three nights in the backyard and outdoor spaces of the theatre and will attempt to reimagine the concept of the “walking food tour” and ‘food stories’. Bread will be broken & refreshments will be served, please bring your picnic chairs and blankets. Audience and community participation is encouraged!
