Set in Montreal, Berlin, and Auschwitz during World War II, Corpus tells the story of Megan who researches the behaviour of Nazis. Using a chat room, Megan discovers a secret relationship between a Jewish prisoner in Auschwitz and the wife of a Nazi officer. But when Megan’s thesis is published, she learns that there are two sides to every history.

Like Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia, Corpus presents scenes from past and present, at times allowing the audience in on plot points ahead of the scholar, creating a detective story intrigue within an academic framework.
