For protesting the destruction of Palestinian homes, 23-year-old Rachel Corrie was crushed to death by the Israel Defense Forces bulldozer in the Gaza Strip. Based on Rachel Corrie’s diary, actor Alan Rickman and journalist Katharine Viner created this play in which Rachel Corrie sought to discover the human impact of her country’s foreign policies on people thousands of miles away.
