Monologues for Dialogue Call for Submissions About the Project In a world often fractured by conflict, we believe in the transformative power of art to inspire dialogue and foster healing. This initiative is not merely a performance; it is a rallying cry for understanding and collaboration. Through storytelling, we aim to bridge divides, spark conversations, and nurture a community united in the quest for peace. Teesri Duniya Theatre invites artists from all cultural backgrounds to submit original monologues for ‘Monologues for Dialogue’, part of the upcoming season ‘Staging Freedom’. This powerful event will explore the intersections of occupation, genocide, peace, and freedom through the lens of diverse voices. We are seeking bold, introspective, and evocative monologues that engage with these themes, with the goal of sparking dialogue and building connections within the community. What We Are Looking For Monologues (up to 10 minutes) that reflect personal or collective experiences with the above-mentioned themes and also extending more specifically to displacement, identity, censorship, and resistance. Pieces that challenge, provoke, and inspire meaningful conversation. Works that highlight underrepresented perspectives and foster alliances across cultural divides. Submission Guidelines Open to all artists, including emerging and established voices. Monologues should be original, unpublished works. Artists of all backgrounds and identities are encouraged to submit. Please submit your monologue as a PDF document, along with a brief bio (200 words max) and a short description of your piece (100 words max).
